How A-Bomb Testing Changed Our Trees
news, science, radiometric dating, young earth

Radiometric dating includes too may assumptions. We simply don’t know what the C14 to C12 ratio was millions of years ago.

November 16, 2008, by Robert Krulwich

Back in the 1950s, the Americans, the British, the French and the Russians tried to impress each other by “testing” atomic weapons. This involved blowing up multi-megaton bombs in the air in remote places, but the explosions didn’t stay local.

This allowed him to age or “date” a person by examining the brain cells — a high carbon-14 count means the person was conceived in the era of atomic testing. That’s not a test you’d want to try at home, because rather than extract a brain cell, you can always ask your parents when you were born — but it did lead Frisen down some interesting paths.

The amazing lesson of all this is that a bunch of atomic bomb blasts from 50 years ago changed the biology of the world, searing themselves into most living things, and the evidence is still there. If you were born around 1954 or shortly thereafter, those bombs made their mark — in you!

Evidence for a young world
science, creation, creationism, young earth, research

August, 1991, by Dr. Russell Humphreys

Here are nearly a dozen natural phenomena which conflict with the evolutionary idea that the universe is billions of years old.

Evidence for a Young Earth
science, creation, creationism, young earth, research

Contrary to what we have been told over and over again by the evolution-believing mass media, the “scientific” establishment, and old-Earth (i.e. slow) Creationists (who don’t want God to get too much glory), there are, in fact, numerous geophysical and astronomical clocks which point to a young age for the earth, solar system, and universe. In fact, such young-earth measuring rods are in the majority. But because the scientific establishment and the mass media are biased in favor of evolution, and against the Creator, and because evolution requires an old earth in order to appear plausible, the public at large is rarely informed of the mounting evidence that contradicts the old earth dogma of evolution.

Did Death Occur on Earth Prior to Man’s Sin?

religion, creation, creationism, young earth

1982, by Bert Thompson, Ph.D.

Through the years, various theories have been set forth which suggest that prior to the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, death and decay nevertheless had been widespread on the Earth amidst a “previous creation” that included pre-Adamic people. In his book, Earth’s Earliest Ages, George H. Pember suggested that the fossil record was clear and compelling evidence of death, disease, ferocity, and even sin—all of which had occurred before Adam and Eve existed.

Wood petrified in spring
science, young earth, fossils, creation, creationism, fossils, research

June 2006, by Tas Walker

Secular research at a hot spring in Japan shows that wood can turn into stone much faster than geologists previously thought.1

The belief that fossils and rocks petrify over millions of years is a part of modern culture-like microwave ovens and jumbo jets. We are constantly fed the idea through newspapers, magazines, museums and text books. Like sticks of chalk in coloured water, people have absorbed the notion that fossils are millions of years old.

Rapid Petrification of Wood

Rapid Petrification of Wood: An Unexpected Confirmation of Creationist Research
by Andrew A. Snelling, Ph.D.

It is extremely unusual for creationist research to be favorably reported and referenced in a technical scientific paper by academic geologists published in a major, secular, geological journal. However, not only has this just happened, but the same paper reported experimental research that confirms the conclusions of the creationist research published in a young-earth creationist journal!

Proof of Rapid Petrification

Proof of Rapid Petrification

Students are often taught that it takes millions of years for things to petrify. This is simply not true. We have 3 pieces of petrified firewood in our museum in Pensacola Florida. Below are some pictures of items that have petrified very quickly. All that is required for petrification is for the object to be buried quickly so the minerals can replace the tissue slowly as it decays.

Rapid Petrifaction
young earth, science, research, creation

The Limestone Cowboy: Everyone has heard the story. “We know absolutely for certain, it takes millions and millions of years for fossils to petrify.” It’s so obvious that no proof is necessary and of course no witnesses verify. The claim is just repeated over and over. So we hear, “Everybody knows that.” Oh yea? How old do you think this boot could be? Millions and millions of years old? I suppose it could be made from T. Rex skin. Do you really think so?

The rubber-soled boot with petrified cowboy (human) leg, bones and all was found in a dry creek bed near the West Texas town of Iraan, about 1980 by Mr. Jerry Stone, an employee of Corvette oil company.
